Choice Tires and Alignment in Grantsville, Utah, was doing everything right in the shop and almost nothing online. Two weeks later the same scan says 89. This is what changed.

Choice Tires and Alignment opened in 2021 on West Clark Street in Grantsville. Shane spent fifteen years in trucking and tire work before opening his own bays, and it shows: four bays, around thirty cars a day, a 4.9 rating from more than 150 Google reviews, and a fleet side that keeps the winter busy when tire season goes quiet. They also sponsor the high school, run an active Instagram, and answer the phone. In person, they had nothing to fix.

What the scan found in August

Bearlo ran the free Digital Storefront Scan the way any customer would: the shop's name and the town. Score: 45 out of 100. Not because anything was wrong with the business. Because the online version of it was missing.

  • No website. Google had nothing to link to. The "visit our website" QR code on the sponsor banner pointed nowhere. Nine of the thirteen checks could not even run.
  • Google profile with a hole in it. Hours, photos and reviews were all strong. The website field was empty, so the profile ended at the phone number.
  • Instagram with no way out. Four hundred followers, no link in the bio, nowhere to send them.
  • Old listings telling old stories. Directories still described a mobile service the shop stopped offering years ago, with a phone number that was no longer theirs.

The pattern is common. A shop earns its reputation face to face, and the internet never hears about it.

What got fixed

  1. A website that says the basics out loud. Five pages: what they do, what it costs, the fleet side, who they are, how to reach them. Phone number tappable from the top of every page. Hours that match Google. Every service written in plain words.
  2. The website attached to the Google profile. The single biggest change. The profile now ends with a link instead of a dead end.
  3. Name and address made consistent everywhere. The Google listing, the site and the schema Google reads all say the same thing, the same way.
  4. Prices published. Alignments, oil changes, mount and balance, flat repair, the lifetime perk on tires bought there. Real numbers from the owner, not a "call for a quote" wall.
  5. Search Console and analytics switched on. So calls and direction taps from the site can be counted instead of guessed.

Nothing on the list is clever. It is the ten things the scan checks, done one at a time.

Choice Tires had this done hands on. What the scan gives you is the same list, in the same order, with a step by step for each item.

What the scan says now

Same scan, same method, September 13: 89 out of 100. Every one of the thirteen checks passes, including the social check, which found the Instagram and Facebook profiles linked from the site. In the site's first week, before Google had even indexed it, three customers found the contact form and asked for quotes.

"I love the website. I can't believe how many people have reached out to us from it. It's crazy. It makes me wonder how many people we missed before we had it."

Jaime Reedy, co-owner, Choice Tires and Alignment

Choice Tires and Alignment had the hard part done: a good shop and happy customers. The scan just showed which of the ten online basics were missing, in order.
