How Bearlo collects, uses, and protects information. Last updated July 13, 2026.
Bearlo ("we," "us") operates bearlo.ai, a marketing service for local businesses: a free Digital Storefront Scan scored against the Bearlo Ten, plus $5 step-by-step fix tutorials. Questions about this policy: hello@bearlo.ai.
When you run a scan or buy a product we collect what you enter: your business name, city, website and social links, your name, and your email address. If you contact us, we keep the message. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card number goes to Stripe, never to our servers.
To build your scan we collect publicly visible information about the business you submit: your website content, your Google Business Profile listing (via Google's Places service), and public social profiles. We only accept scan requests from people who own or are authorized to represent the business.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and reports page views to Meta so we can measure our advertising and reach people who visited the site. You can limit this in your browser's cookie settings, through Meta's Ad Preferences, or at aboutads.info/choices. We may also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page visits.
To generate your scan and score, deliver products you purchase, send transactional email (scan results, receipts, deliverables), respond to your messages, and improve the service. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run Bearlo: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database and hosting), Resend (email delivery), Google (retrieving public business listings), Meta (advertising measurement, as described above), and our web hosting provider. Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep scan results, orders, and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (for example, tax records for purchases). Email hello@bearlo.ai to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to have a scan of your business removed, we honor these requests for everyone, regardless of location.
Bearlo is a service for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be called out to customers by email.
