About Bearlo
Bearlo helps local businesses see their storefront the way customers do, then gives them a clear, prioritized way to fix it.
Most local businesses do excellent work. Skilled people, careful service, real customer outcomes. The problem is what happens before the customer walks in or calls: the searches, the reviews, the profile details, the mobile contact path. Small gaps there quietly hand customers to average competitors with tidier online presence.
Bearlo was built to close that gap without a sales call, without a long audit, and without pretending marketing outcomes can be guaranteed. Scan first. See the truth. Fix the one thing that matters most, then the next.
The framework
Your Digital Storefront Score is a single number from 0 to 100 that reflects how ready your online presence is to earn customers. It's built from three category scores: Website (45%), Google (35%) and Social (20%). Those are the three places customers actually decide whether to choose you.

The founder
I've spent 29 years in marketing, starting with boutique hotels and later leading marketing for a local services group with hundreds of locations.
I'm a little consumed by what AI can do for small businesses. For the first time, local business owners have access to tools that can help them compete, market smarter, and look every bit as professional as billion-dollar companies.
But access to AI does not automatically make it useful. There are thousands of tools, endless advice, and a new "game-changing" platform launching every week. Most small business owners do not have the time to figure out what works, what matters, or where to begin.
That is why I created Bearlo. I wanted to take the best of what AI can do and make it simple, practical, and affordable for every local business owner.
Here's what 29 years in marketing taught me. At 250 locations, you have a team, a budget, and enough room to test ideas and learn what actually moves the needle. At six employees, you rarely have those resources, and a marketing firm's smallest engagement can cost more than it could realistically give back. That isn't anybody's fault. It's simply what the numbers look like for a small business.
But the marketing basics matter just as much, no matter the size of the company. Wrong hours on Google can cost a local tire shop a customer. So can a phone number that doesn't match the one on the sign. So can not having a website at all.
The list of essential fixes is surprisingly short, and it is nearly always the same. So I wrote it down, called it the Bearlo Ten, and built something that checks all ten for free. You see every result, whether it passes or fails.
Your first fix is free. After that, it's $5 per fix. There is nothing else to buy.
You should get to spend your time building a business you're proud of. Bearlo helps remove the basic bear-iers standing between a good local business and the people already looking for it.
